The Teacher’s Veil
We, the pupils, stare at the veil,
Standing still, eyes wide and frail.
We yearn to learn, to grow and thrive,
To see and feel, to be alive.
Our teacher stands, a silent guide,
Through the veil, she sees inside.
Our hearts, our minds, our deepest fears,
Our hopes, our dreams, our joyful tears.
She whispers softly, “Come with me,”
And leads us through the veil to see.
A world of wonder, filled with light,
A place where we can shine so bright.
In this world, we grow and learn,
Our passions, strengths, desires burn.
Our teacher fosters every flame,
And guides us to our path, our aim.
She is adaptable, patient, kind,
Empathetic, understanding, wise.
A true lifelong learner, she inspires,
And sets our hearts and minds afire.
Through her, we learn to think and feel,
To question, create, and reveal.
The beauty of our inner selves,
The treasures that we hide and delve.
We leave her lesson, our hearts aglow,
With gratitudea feeling of thankfulness or appreciation, associated with happiness, contentment, or generosity and lovea strong feeling of affection and attachment towards someone or something bestowed.
For she has shown us what it means,
To be a great teacher, through and through.
